If you haven’t read the label on your dog’s food, then you’re in for a nasty surprise. The stuff on that label is little better (in most cases) than roughage on the floor of brewing establishments, left over animals by-products and other things best not mentioned in polite company. Suffice it to say that’s what is in your dog’s food even YOU wouldn’t eat. How bad is that?
Why are there dog and cat foods on the market made with such awful stuff? The bottom line is that they are cheap to produce. The logistics are that making a dog food that is grain based costs way less than one made with meat as the first ingredient. Odd that we feed carnivores (genetically and inherently) grains, when they should be eating meat to thrive. Personally I am just trying to lose weight so I’m feeding myself the best information by reading the Fatloss for idiots review.
