In today’s world, it’s no surprise that famous movie and TV stars are on the look out for the next big thing. And interestingly, many of them have seized upon Pug dog ownership as the perfect “accessory!” It’s hard to blame them as Pugs are sooooo cute, and people love to find a photo of a celeb with a cute dog in People magazine.
While many stars are tripping over themselves to make this happen there are several famous Pugs that have already hit the big time. While a couple of them live the normal life of celebrity owner leisure, one has appeared as it self on reality television and another of the famous pugs has a line of designer clothing named after him.
When Tori Spelling was filming her reality show for VH1 entertainment network, the part of her pet on the show was played by the famous pugs in her real life, Mimi La Rue. This showbiz dog should have known what the future held when it joined this showbiz family.
In additional to Spelling, two other famous pugs, Sid and Nancy are often seen frolicking in the sand with their owner, Jessica Alba or just walking her on a leach through the streets of their New York Home.
Italian clothing designer Valentino is seldom spotted out and about without one of the world’s most famous pugs, Oliver. Valentino thinks so much of his near constant canine companion that he has named a clothing line after the pug. However, Oliver is in good company with other famous pugs such as Finoula and Sabrina who may often sing with their owner Billy Joel as well as Tommy Hilfiger.
Did you know that Paula Abdul, singer and judge on American Idol, and Ted Danson are also famous Pug owners, making them somewhat better off in our opinion for owning this adorable, yet extremely smart little animal?
