Throughout the years, tattoos have been used as a permanent form of self expression, inked onto the body of the subject. From the tattoo designs used to designated members of a tribe, tribal tattoos, to the tattoos used to identify the religious leaders of the past, like cross tattoos, tattoos have been a way for an individual to distinguish themselves from the rest and, for many, their tattoos have a deep, personal meaning.

There are countless images and symbols that can be used either alone or in different combinations with words and letters. The very best tattoos are the ones that are unique and reflect the real essence of an individual’s ideals and beliefs. Consider the meanings behind these popular tattoo symbols as you contemplate your new design:

Yin Yang: Although it looks sleek and modern, yin yang is actually an ancient symbol from the Chinese Tao (“the Way”). It symbolizes the dual nature of reality—the light and dark elements that make up the universe, working together and against one another at all times.

The Butterfly - The butterfly tattoo is one of the most requested tattoos for women all over the world. Expressing beauty and femininity, most butterfly tattoos are unique to the bearer and customized using dozens of different colors and wing patterns. The most common areas for a butterfly tattoo to be displayed are the shoulder blade, the upper arm, the ankle, and the lower back.

The Dragon – Dragon tattoos are typically used to symbolize strength, cunning, or transformation in the person displaying the tattoo. Dragons come in a wide variety of different sizes and styles and are often customized by incorporating the person’s favorite colors into the dragon’s scales. Dragons are often portrayed with the dragon’s facial expression displayed to show humor, anger, or wisdom.

The Rose – A rose is a popular symbol that is generally used along with other symbols. Roses intertwined with hearts are often used to symbolize love while roses surrounding swords indicate a great strength. The colors of the roses may be changed to reflect the actual colors and meanings of the roses that bloom naturally.

Om: Taken from ancient Sanskrit language, the “Om” is considered the sound associated with the Higher Power. It is an ancient symbol seen in various forms, the sound of which is used in meditation, Hindu religion, and one of the foundations of all sound.

The Sword – The sword has many different meanings when used in different circumstances. A sword displayed alone will generally symbolize strength while a sword piercing a heart could mean lost or unfaithful love. The wide variety of sword tattoo designs available reflects the many different types of swords in the world.

Lion: The lion is the “King of Beasts”. It represents superiority, royalty, power, and loyalty. It is also a representation of the astrological sign Leo. The wearer may want to express their regal qualities, or the fierceness with which they live and protect the things and people they love.

Infinity Symbol: The infinity symbol represents the eternal, never-ending quality of the human soul. It is also a mathematical symbol, and has ancient Arabian origins. It is both and intellectual and magical symbol, meant for express a deep connection with the meaning of existence.

Wolf: The wolf is a pack hunter and can symbolize being part of a group. Wolves also have a long tradition of bonding with humans, and are a common motif in Native American art and tattoos. Occasionally a wolf that has gone through a great loss will strike out on its own, and the “lone wolf” is a symbol for someone who has also experienced loss, or who feels like a social outcast.

1 There is nothing worse than not knowing what you want to get out of giving your speech. Do you want to be funny, thank the caterers or touch the emotions of your guests? That is why before you actually say or write anything you have to decide what you want to achieve first. It helps when it comes down to visualizing what you are going to say.

2 Guests like to hear a structured speech and the best speeches stick to this rule. You have to have a welcome in a wedding speech; especially acknowledging those who have traveled a long way to be at the wedding. You must also have two or three personal stories to go with it such as how you met your wife for the middle and an end such as thanking and toasting the bridesmaids.
Here is an example of the speech structure:
* Greeting/Welcome where you acknowledge special guest
* Personal Story #1 – how you met
* Personal Story #2 – most memorable moment together and why it was memorable
* Something nice about the future of the couple
* Call to action: Toast Bridesmaids etc.

3 Keep your speech short at a wedding, between 5 and 7 minutes. Anything longer and your speech will be too long winded and you will bore your listeners.

4 Keep the content of your speech on a positive note and avoid making any negative comments.

5 Personal stories help you to connect with your audience in a more meaningful way.

6 Keep these personal anecdotes very short and use them to demonstrate a point, but not as the focus of the speech. Try and take people to your special moment in time by describing the place, situation and even what time of day and what the weather was like if you can remember it. This is always good because it lets the audience visualize the moment.

7 People remember the opening in a speech they hear and it is what will decide if you will be heard or ignored. The closing is important because it should reinforce the key message you want the audience to go away with in their head after they have heard the entire speech. Ending with some sort of call to action can be a powerful way to get your audience to act on your message. In the wedding speech the call to action is easy. All that you have to do is ask people to stand, charge their glasses and toast the bridesmaids.

8 You need to be alert if you are going to make a good and lasting speech. Save the alcoholic celebrations until after your speech so that you don’t say or do anything silly.

9 Use index cards with key points if you are planning to make a longer speech. Avoid reading it directly and keep eye contact with your audience as much as possible because it shows that you are being sincere.

10 Practice the speech or at least get some feedback from someone you trust beforehand.
Speeches are very often the highlight of the wedding reception. Generally the speakers will be introduced by the wedding mc. Learn more about this very important role

Five tips you can use to keep your Airedale terrier well-behaved.

1) Can’t teach an old dog – It’s best start training your Airedale terrier puppy as early as possible. This way, the behavioral training that you give it will be ingrained into the Airedale terrier pet dog’s brain. Proper behavior will become almost instinctive.

2) Use, don’t abuse – Various training methods are open to you. But, there’s one thing you should know: they only work with proper use. Some people make use of the crate or the leash to abuse their pet. Any method of training can only be effective if used in a way that will not harm the dog. You should be firm but gentle with your puppy when you are trying to train it.

3) Habit inside, habit outside – Before taking your Airedale terrier puppy outside, try to observe its behavior indoors. This will give you a clue as to how the Airedale terrier pet dog will act outside the house. Many people say that a puppy’s behavior inside a house is very different from the way that the same dog will act in outside environments. This is not true. By observing the inside behavior of your Airedale terrier pet dog, you will realize how it will respond to you outside.

After all, if your Airedale terrier does not listen to your commands inside the house, how can you expect it to listen to your commands outside the house where there are things a lot more interesting to a puppy than your commands?

4) Keep your temper – Training a puppy can understandably be very frustrating. Negative actions such as hitting or shouting at your puppy will not accomplish anything positive. Sometimes, we have a tendency to take out our frustrations on helpless pets. Do not blame your problems on the puppy. If you know that you are having a bad day, do not even think about training your dog. Your puppy will learn nothing and that would only increase your frustration.

5) Timing – Timing is always important. You need to make corrections regarding your Airedale terrier puppy’s behavior while those corrections are still relevant. If you praise or correct with the wrong timing, you would only end up confusing the dog. Actually, the best timing you can use is to correct the Airedale terrier puppy before he or she even starts to misbehave.

Lifelock or Loudsiren that is the question.
Comparing things is inevitable even when such a thing is LifeLock vs LoudSiren. Whether it is intended or not, comparing one thing against the other is constantly happening. There are times that because of this comparison, disagreements and even heated arguments arise. I have seen this happen recently in the identity theft market when two co-workers argued which was better lifelock identity protection or LoudSiren identity protection. Usually I would just separate myself from such an argument but in this case I started the “debate”. I didn’t intend to I merely asked for an opinion while having lunch because I didn’t know much about either company. I just wanted to protect my credit and good name and I didn’t even know that William used this type of company. A single question to one person set off quite the ”debate”. At least these two were comparing things on the same level this time, you know apples to apples, because I have to admit I have seen them argue before about things that do not have the same qualities.

Anyways this is what I learnt. Life Lock is just like many other identity protection services. It is the type of company that really does all the work for their clients even though some things could be done yourself such as placing a fraud alert. Lifelocks marketing ploy is to show off their CEO’s social security number to show how confident they are about protecting ones identity. This advertising worked because this is what made me notice them. LifeLock is also able to generate positive public relations for itself due to the ongoing recognition they receive from others. I am not positive about what these are but some awards were awarded.

LifeLock has a ISO 27001 certification that proves that their security at company headquarters in Tempe, Arizona is first rate. Their investment in security makes them able to provide real protection of the confidentialhand them. LifeLock is also perhaps the only company that can provide identity protection services to children.

Loud Siren, another identity protection company slowly climbing the identity theft industry ladder, they are also at par with LifeLock. They can actually speed up the process of your credit requests though I don’t know how. They also put a Loud Siren Safe Phone Number in your credit report that keeps personal phone numbers private. In addition, during the credit approval request process, reporting fraudulent credit requests is easy to report to law enforcers by pressing a button on your phone.

LoudSiren has a patent pending technology that offers a secure interface for identity protection at least when it comes to fraud alerts. There is also an audit trail that protects you from disputes.

Life Lock and LoudSiren place fraud alerts on your behalf and order your credit report. They also stop the flood of junk mail.

To be honest I am not positive about every detail as it was difficult to capture all the points made because they were arguing. I think this is a good start however and I plan to educate myself further and I will post my results for you shortly.

Wedding rehearsal dinners are a chance to unwaind a little and enjoy a quiet evening before the big day. But adding some fun and games into the rehearsal dinner isn’t such a bad idea. It’s a good way to help everyone let off some steam, calm down and enjoy each other’s company.

If you’re planning a sit-down formal dinner, fun games and activities can still be on the menu. There’s been a lot of planning, and a lot of stress. The wedding party and close friends and family will welcome the opportunity to have some fun.

The success or failure of any games or activities largely depends not just on the planning but your venue. If you’re having a sit-down dinner in a restaurant, try to get a private room. Then lots of fun activities can be organized, such as “pin the veil on the bride”, in which blindfolded guests spin around a few times, then try to pin the veil on a picture of the bride. Silly, yes, but also fun.

One fun activity sure to help everyone blow off some steam is charades. Whoever is up will act out a scene from the bride or groom’s life, so it might be when graduating from college, or getting a huge promotion at work. The “it” person might choose to act out when the bride tripped and fell at another person’s wedding or when the groom saved a dog from getting hit by a car. This is a little twist on charades that allows people get to know the bride and groom better, and adds intimacy to the occasion.

If the wedding rehearsal dinner is a bit less formal and held in someone’s home, there are many more activities that can take place. For example, how about a night of playing board games? Who needs formal food? You can have that at the formal wedding. At this rehearsal dinner party, the games are center stage.

Bring in some nibbles and tell everyone to wear comfortable clothes and settle in for a night of board games. You can set up games on different tables, divide people into groups of 4 or 5 and have everyone rotate tables at designated times. You can even instruct game players that when they move to another table, the game stays out the way it is. So, for example, dad might begin playing Monopoly where the bride was and he’s stuck with only a little money in the bank and no houses on Boardwalk.

Suppose the bride and groom are really into sports. If the wedding is to be held in the summer and the days are long, what about a game of touch football or baseball? You can play bride’s family against groom’s family, men against women, or for a twist, the bride plays with the groom’s family and the groom with the bride’s family. Any combination works. The idea here is to have some fun, relax and enjoy each other’s company.

Be sure to have a camera at the rehearsal dinner/event, because you’ll want to capture the fun!

One of the best ways to help your dog get the exercise that he or she needs is through exercise. Most dogs are able to get this type of exercise by simply learning a few tricks that they can do.

By training your dog to do tricks it means helping them to become fit. A dog that learns how to fetch, for instance, is a dog that is going to get a lot more running and movement to his day when you play with him.

Dogs that are trained are often much more active than those that are not, even when the dog’s owner is not working with them. They are trained to be active and therefore continuously are moving and doing something. They are less likely to have a stationary lifestyle.

The old saying that you can not teach an old dog a new trick is not true. Dogs of all ages can be trained to do various activities. You can do this with your dog and see his exercise level increase.

A key way to keep your dog exercising and remaining fit is to allow yourself the ability to concentrate on their needs. If you do not encourage them to play, they will not do so. If you do not take them to the park, they can not go there. With that said, dog owners can appreciate the benefits of improving their dog’s activities by staying motivated themselves on the needs of that dog.

A good way to keep yourself on track for your dog’s exercise requirements is to simply schedule time in your day to make it happen. Dogs need to be an essential part of your day. You can schedule their time for exercise just as you would pick the kids up from school.

Making it a part of your schedule helps you to stick with it and it will help your pet to stay on schedule too. Most importantly, it helps you to remember to exercise your dog. Without that reminder, most people will put it off and forget, leaving their dog without this important benefit in their life.

How often have you heard this comment “I am working so hard to support this family!”. It is about giving the family a better life and usually it is the reason that the family breaks out. My story starts when we start Caring For Baby.

Soon, after the baby arrives into my family, I took on the belief that taking care of baby would increase our expenses and decided to take on more projects. With the thinking that this would give the family a better life.

But, little did I realize that this is actually straining our couple’s relationship. We have very little time together, she thought I stopped caring, I see her as not understanding towards my hardwork.

There were very terrible fights, fortunately for us, what saw us together as a couple bind as back as one. My wife and I are poles apart for our character. But, it is our passion for coffee that glue us together again.

We love coffee and have great joy making the beverage ourselves. However, due to space constraint, we decided to get a Space Saver Coffee Maker. After one of those lousy quarrels, I decided to make a coffee to cool down and sitting on the kitchen top was a photo we took during our last trip.

It was beside this under counter coffee maker and the coffee in my hand that I start recollecting the happy times we have together. And how, we were not having enough to spent but we have great time looking for bargains. It was great time.

At that moment, I know that something need to be done to rescue this relationship. Since it is Space Saver Coffee Maker that awake my perspective of our relationship, I decided to use it to pass my Love Note.

I am your typical guy, I scribble some thoughts and left the love message inside the coffee pot, knowing well that you definitely need to open out the coffee pot to brew coffee (one cannot risk brewing the Love Note right?).

Of course, after she receives the Love Note, she was touched. We sit down, talk about how things was and how we want it to happen. Now, our young princess is 3 years old, we are still trying to make end meets but our lives are very fulfilling and very happy.

So, whenever I see people looking for the gourmet coffee maker, I always tell them to look out for a coffee experience. My Space Saver Coffee Maker doesn’t even brew espresso, but to us, this would be the best coffee maker we ever have…

Foxhounds were the very first of the canine breeds in Britain to come under the domination of scientific breeding. There had been hounds of more ancient origin, such as the Southern Hound and the Bloodhound; but something different was desired towards the end of the seventeenth century to hunt the wild deer that had become somewhat scattered after Cromwell’s civil war. The demand was for a faster hound than those hitherto known, and people devoted to the chase began to breed it.

Height:-
Dogs from 23-1/2 to 24 inches; bitches from 22 to 22-1/2 inches.

Coat:-
The coat is hard hair, but short and smooth, the texture is as stiff as bristles, but beautifully laid.

Colour:-
Belvoir tan, which is brown and black, perfectly intermixed, with white markings of various shapes and sizes. The white should be very opaque and clear. Black and white, with tan markings on head and stifles. Badger pied a kind of grey and white. Lemon pied, light yellow and white. Hare pied, a darker yellow and white.

Legs and feet:-
The bone should be perfectly straight from the arm downward, and descend in the same degree of size to the ankles. The knee should be almost flat and level; there should be no curve until coming to the toes, which should be very strong, round, cat-shaped, and every toe clean set as it were.
Shoulders:-
The blades should be well into the back, and should slant, otherwise be wide and strong, to meet the arms, that should be long and powerful.

Neck:-
Should be perfectly clean, no skin ruffle whatever. The length of neck is of importance, both for stooping and giving an air of majesty.

Head:-
Somewhat broad, not peaked like the Bloodhound, but long from the apex to the frontal bones, eyebrows very prominent, cheeks cut clean from the eye to the nostril, ears set low and in their natural condition thin and shapely, but not large, nose large, jaw strong and level, and small dewlaps, expression fierce, and with the best often repellent.

Eyes:-
Very bright and deeply set, full of determination, and with a very steady expression. The look of the Foxhound is very remarkable.

Some couples would rather elope than have all the aggravation and expense of an elaborate wedding. This is especially true if they are on their second or third weddings.

If this is the route you choose you will learn that you may be tasteful and frugal at the same time. After all, the brides and grooms of yesteryear were quite resourceful when it came to getting things done. Of course, many of them still want to have the reception when they get home.

Before the days of the huge wedding there were simple ceremonies and a few friends and family members got together to celebrate the union of the happy couple.

Men can be in charge of grilling or moving chairs and tables if the event will take place outside, as well as spreading a few decorations in honor of the happy couple. While some people drink champagne the rest drink beer from a tap. Tapped beer only costs around $150 and will last all night long. Enough champagne for toasting purposes will run under $75. With everyone in casual or their Sunday best there is really no need for a new outfit.

The bride and groom will want to wear something new of course, but it will be less costly than a traditional gown and tux. Flowers can be a fresh picked bouquet of seasonal flowers. The cake may not cost you more than $50 dollars if you do not have someone that will make it for you as a wedding gift. There are simple tricks to remember when having a simple affair and that is color coordinating and display.

If you can find that special person with an eye for decorating put them in charge of having things displayed in the right manner, this is half the battle. The ladies can put together their best pieces of china and dishes to make a beautiful table for the buffet style table. Some ribbons and bows will set apart the bride and groom at no extra costs.

The ceremony itself need only be a preacher or a visit to City Hall to be married in the judges chambers. The whole set up here will only be the cost of the license and a donation to the official.

Someone to decorate cars and take charge of smaller tasks like that will keep others free for more challenging jobs such as lighting for night time and arranging a place to dance or kick up your heals.

All of this might only take a couple of weeks or a few days if you push it. Make sure you haven’t forgot the camera because when all is said an done the most important thing to remember is the people that love each other are together and they have wonderful fond memories to share for many years to come.

The price of some disposable cameras is about $5 per 27 pictures so if there is no one with a camera you can use this very effective way of preserving your favorite poses. All the way through the beginning of the preparations to the grand finale of the happy couple leaving the guests for the wedding night keep snapping those pictures. It will be much appreciated later.

An economical wedding like this will cost you less than $1,000 but will be just as beautiful as the most costly weddings ever.

Don’t forget to send some thank you cards to all the helpful family and friends that made your wonderful day possible. And perhaps you could offer to return the favor in the future.

A quickie wedding may not be the wedding of many people’s dreams but for a second and third wedding, these are often the perfect choice.

And of course, a friend or family member can act as the wedding emcee. Learn more:

I would like to share my view of the 7 ‘physical’ realms for life management

Clarity, focus and success in these 7 physical realms of organized living help bring you super-satisfaction.

Here is the countdown:

1. How To Get Organized - Environment

(where you go and where you stay)

What is your most regular environment? You probably do not visit too many different places during your normal days.

So make a list. I love lists. They work. Make a list of the regular environment you find yourself in. Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen, Living Room, Car, Train, Office, Gym, etc.

Of course, once you have this list you can begin to control how each is organized, and how you and your things and activities are organized in each.

2. How To Get Organized - Occupation

(career development and creative projects)

Getting organized at work requires quite something special, especially if you work with the types of clients that I do. Are there some things that regularly cause you disorganization at work?

What would your occupation look like if ideally organized? Time Management is also pretty vital here so you might want to see: time management training.

3. How To Get Organized - Personal

(your lifestyle choices, purpose, direction and gadgets)

This is a big one. Your life could be organized or efficient, but it still might not be what you really want. Preparing your aims and ambitions for your personal satisfaction is key to organized living and your ability to get organized.

4. How To Get Organized - Security

(physical and economic safety)

This involves political, economic, personal safety, the security of your home, etc.

An important part of organized living is being secure. What threats are there to you at present. What steps can you take to reduce those threads?

5. How To Get Organized - Financial

(building wealth)

Where does your money come from?… And where does it go… (ouch).

Make a Financial Project for your overall approach to organize your life so you have clarity on your financial outlook.

6. How To Get Organized - People

(influence and romance)

In what way do other people play a part in your quest and evolution of organized living?

Staying in touch with friends. Spending time with friends. Living with special people. The social payoff from a life well lived makes these difficult with %keyword3% worthwhile.

7. How To Get Organized - Health

(physical vitality)

Are you as healthy as you’d like to be?

I’ve found that focusing on health can have incredibly profound consequences on my life satisfaction. And that’s practically synonymous with an organized life.

Bottom Line

Do you have a project for each of those 7 areas of organized living, and have you identified the next activities you are going to take for each?

See get organized techniques for more.
